Spanish team Sporting de Gijón was founded in 1905. One interesting fact is that their stadium, Estadio El Molinón, is the oldest ever in Spain where professional football is played. Opened in 1908, it can offer a sporting spectacle to more than 29,000 spectators. Although they have played in the first league, they have not been able to win many trophies.
