AC Monza, commonly referred to as Monza, is a professional football club based in Monza, Lombardy, Italy. The team was founded in 1912 and has a storied history, although it has spent most of its existence in the lower divisions of Italian football. The Italian name is Atalanta BC and the club nicknames are Gli Orobici, La Dea or I Nerazzurri (the black and whites).
