VfB Stuttgart

VfB Stuttgart was founded in the 19th century in 1893, under the name Stuttgarter FV 93. Like many other teams, their club colours are red and white. Given that they are from a city famous for its automotive industry, it's probably not surprising that their stadium is called the Mercedes-Benz Arena. It boasts a very solid capacity of 60,000 spectators.

FC Erzgebirge Aue

The German football club, nicknamed Veilchen, which means violets, naturally has purple as its club colour. The colour is both in the emblem and on the jerseys. At home they play mostly in purple, away they play mostly in white. The home ground of this team is the Erzgebirgsstadion with a capacity of 16,486 people. The club was founded in 1946 as SG Aue in the town of Aue-Bad Schlema in the Federal Republic of Saxony. Since then it has changed its name many times, first in 1948 to BSG Pneumatik Aue and during the GDR era it was also called SC Wismut Karl-Marx-Stadt. It has been under its current name since 1993.
