Empoli FC

The Tuscany club has a tradition dating back to 1920 and has changed its name several times throughout its history. From the original Empoli FBC it gradually became ASF Empoli, Dopolavoro Empolese to today's Empoli FC. The Azzurri, as the team playing its home games at Stadio Carlo Castellani (capacity of more than 16,000 spectators) is also nicknamed, even played in the UEFA Cup in 2007. However, the vast majority of their time was spent in Italy's third highest competition. They have been more successful in recent seasons, but they are still more of a provincial club in the Italian scale, on the border between Serie A and Serie B.

US Catanzaro 1929 is an Italian football club based in Catanzaro, Calabria. The team was founded originally in 1927 and reestablished as US Catanzaro 1929 due to financial difficulties. Traditionally playing in the colors yellow and red, reflecting the hues of the city's coat of arms, the team is nicknamed "Gli Aquilotti" (The Little Eagles), representing their symbol, the eagle.
