RCD Mallorca

The Spanish team Real Club Deportivo Mallorca, from the port city of Palma, has been playing football since 1916. Interestingly, it is the oldest football team in the Balearic Islands. In its more than a century of existence, it has also won a number of successes, the biggest being the 2003 Copa del Rey and before that the 1998 Spanish Super Cup triumph.

The Andalusian team, which played in the Champions League in the 2012/2013 season - their journey in Europe's most prestigious cup competition ended in the quarter-finals. Málaga CF plays its home games at La Rosaleda Stadium, which has a capacity of 30,044 fans and is currently owned by Sheikh Abdullah Al Thani. The club first appeared on the football map in 1904, and fans will know it as Los Malaguistas or Los Blanquiazules, a reference to the club's colours of white and blue.
