AFC Wimbledon

The nicknames of this club were The Dons, The Wombles and The Crazy Gang. The club colours are a combination of blue and yellow, which are part of the crest and home jerseys. The club was founded in 1889 in the south-west London borough of Merton. For a long time it played in the lower competitions, but after professionalisation it rose to the highest rungs of English football in 1985 and also managed to win the English Cup, in 1888.
