Red Star FC 93, often simply known as Red Star, is a historic football club based in Paris, France. Founded on October 21, 1897, by French journalist Jules Rimet who later initiated the creation of the FIFA World Cup, the club has a rich heritage and loyal fan base. The team's colors are green and white, and it traditionally plays its home matches at the Stade Bauer in Saint-Ouen, a suburb just outside Paris.
More about Red Star FC 93The traditional French football team was founded in 1913, still under the name USVA (Union Sportive de Valenciennes Anzin) and currently plays in Ligue 2, the second highest French competition. Since 2011, it has played at the Stade du Hainaut, which can accommodate twenty-five thousand spectators. Four decades in the first French league, but also a final appearance in the French National Cup in 1951, the last one in history so far - these are Valenciennes FC's greatest achievements.
