Roda JC Kerkrade

The nicknames of this Dutch football team are Miners, Pride of the South or De Limburgers. The Pride of the South football team plays in yellow and black, which are the club colours also included in the emblem. They play their home games at the Parkstad Limburg Stadion, which offers a total capacity for 19,979 fans. The club was founded in Kerkrade in 1962, following the merger of Rapid JC and Roda Sport. For a long time, the club was known as Roda JC, but since 2009 it also includes the name of the city of Kerkrade, which financially supports the club.

The Dutch football club NEC Nijmegen was founded in 1900. It is the 41st oldest club in the country!
