The club nicknames were De Mannekes, De Ratten and their club colours were then purple and white. These colours were also seen in the club crest and on home or away jerseys. At home, purple jerseys with white details were predominant, and away, white jerseys with purple details were predominant. The Olympisch Stadion, with a total capacity of 12 771 seats, was a shrine to this Belgian football team. The club originated in the important port city of Antwerp, where it was founded in 1920 after the merger of a pair of local teams, KFC Germinal Ekeren and K. Beerschot VAC.
More about Beerschot ACThe nickname of the club is De Kempeneers, the colour combination of the jerseys is yellow and blue. For home games the jersey is yellow, which is complemented by blue shorts, for away games it is the other way around. Alternatively, they also use white jerseys with blue details. At home they are at Het Kuipje Westerlo stadium, which has a capacity of 8,035 spectators. The club was founded back in 1933 and, as its name suggests, operates in the Belgian municipality of Westerlo in the province of Antwerp.
