Reading FC

Reading FC was founded in 1871, making it one of the oldest clubs in England. Based in the town of the same name in the English county of Berkshire, Reading play their home games at the Madejski Stadium, which boasts a capacity of over 24,000 fans. AFC Wimbledon

The nicknames of this club were The Dons, The Wombles and The Crazy Gang. The club colours are a combination of blue and yellow, which are part of the crest and home jerseys. The club was founded in 1889 in the south-west London borough of Merton. For a long time it played in the lower competitions, but after professionalisation it rose to the highest rungs of English football in 1985 and also managed to win the English Cup, in 1888. They beat then big club Liverpool 1-0.
