Calcio Catania
The history of the Italian club Calcio Catania dates back to 1929, when they managed to play in the top Italian league. Here, their best finish was eighth position, which they achieved several times, most recently in the 2012/2013 season. However, after the following season, the team was relegated to Italy's third league, Serie C, due to a corruption scandal where they were supposed to buy games for keeps.

The Italian name is Atalanta BC and the club nicknames are Gli Orobici, La Dea or I Nerazzurri (the black and whites). And as the latter nickname shows, the club colours are also black and blue, which appear both on the jerseys and in the emblem. This is the Atleti Azzurri d'Italia stadium, which is known as Gewiss Stadium for sponsorship reasons. Its capacity is 21 300 people.
