The foundations of Birmingham City Football Club were laid back in 1875 when the team was still named as Small Heath Alliance, having played under its current name since 1943. It plays its home games at St Andrew's Stadium, which can hold around 30,000 fans. Perhaps unsurprisingly, their biggest rival is the more famous Aston Villa, who are based in the same city.
More about Birmingham City FCThe club is called Red Dragons and it is not hard to guess the club colours, which include red of course, but also white. The home jerseys honour these colours as well, with the away game being played in a combination of white and black. Home games are played at the Racecourse Ground, which seats 10,771 spectators. The Welsh side was founded in 1864, then under the name Wrexham Town FC. The team is therefore from the town of Wrexham in the ceremonial county of Clwyd. In 1880 it was renamed Wrexham FC and in 2006 it was re-established as Wrexham AFC after its demise.
