Göztepe SK
Fans call them Göz Göz and they are a Turkish football club with quite a long history dating back to 1925. They are home to Izmir and were originally formed as a sports club by splitting from Altay SK. A number of sports are played here, but football is the most prominent. The nickname of this Turkish football team is Anadolu Kartalı (Anatolian Eagle) and their club colours are green and white. The home jerseys are mostly white with green vertical stripes on the chest, while the away jerseys are green. Their sanctuary is the modern Konya Büyükşehir Stadium with a capacity of 37,829 seats. The club originates from the Turkish city of Konya and was founded in 1922. It was then reformed in 1981.
