AC Ajaccio is a French football team from Corsica. Recently, they have been alternating between the first and second league. Their main competitor is SC Bastia. When they run into each other, their duel is called the Corsican derby. Their home stadium, the Stade François Coty, has a capacity of over 10,000 fans. As far as trophies are concerned, they haven't won many notable successes in their more than 100-year history. They have twice dominated the second league, but the last time was in the 2001/2002 season.
More about AC AjaccioYou may have previously known this club as Évian Thonon Gaillard FC. The club's nicknames include Les Croix de Savoie, Les Roses or simply the abbreviation Evian. The nicknames suggest that their club colour is pink, which is combined with white on their jerseys. Although these colours no longer appear in their crest, here again we find the Savoy Cross. The club operates out of the Parc des Sports stadium, which has a capacity of 15 660 seats.
