They have been in the lower leagues for their entire history, with their biggest title coming in the 1962/1963 season when they won the Third Division. They also have Fourth Division titles (1986/1987 and 2015/2016) and won the Southern Football League in the 1908/1909 season. They play their home games at Sixfields Stadium with a capacity of just under 8,000 spectators.
More about Northampton Town FCPlayers of this English football club are nicknamed The Railwaymen or The Alex. The club's colours are red and white, and these also appear on the home jerseys, with the jersey itself in red and the shorts in white. Outdoors, they play in a combination of yellow and black. At home they are at Gresty Road Stadium, which has a capacity of 10,153. The club was founded back in 1877, specifically in the town of Crewe, as the name of the club itself suggests. The second part of the name then takes its name from Queen Alexandra.
