The soccer club from the American capital DC United has been in existence since 1996 and is one of the founding members of Major League Soccer. Their modern stadium Audi Field has a capacity of about 20 thousand fans. The home matches are played in all black, while the away jerseys are all white.
More about DC UnitedSan Jose Earthquakes, a California soccer team, was founded in 1994, but at the time it was still called the San Jose Clash. The renaming took place in 1999, and it was such a return of the Earthquakes to the city, as a club of that name had already played soccer in San Jose in the 1970s and 1980s.
