New England Revolution

New England Revolution soccer team from Foxborough, just outside Boston, has been playing the unpopular ball sport since 1994. And since 1996, it's been one of the ten founding teams of Major League Soccer. Their Gillette Stadium has a capacity of about 20,000 fans for soccer, but this can be increased significantly if needed, as it otherwise holds upwards of 65,000 spectators for American football games.

Chicago Fire

The American team Chicago Fire was founded in 1997. For home games they use Soldier Field, which has a capacity of over 61,000. The home jerseys are blue, while the away games are pure white. Interestingly, their most successful season was their very first in Major League Soccer, when they won the MLS Cup and also managed to win the U.S. Open Cup, which they won in 2000, 2003 and 2006 in addition to 1998. They won the regular season and the Supporters' Shield once in 2003.
