The American team Chicago Fire was founded in 1997. For home games they use Soldier Field, which has a capacity of over 61,000. The home jerseys are blue, while the away games are pure white. Interestingly, their most successful season was their very first in Major League Soccer, when they won the MLS Cup and also managed to win the U.S. Open Cup, which they won in 2000, 2003 and 2006 in addition to 1998. They won the regular season and the Supporters' Shield once in 2003.
More about Chicago FireThe American football team Houston Dynamo has been in existence since 2005. It has had a short, but on the other hand relatively successful history. They won the MLS Cup in 2006 and 2007 and won the MLS Supporters Shield for the regular season winners in 2008. That said, they have had a very good start in Major League Soccer.
