The home jerseys are predominantly red, with white vertical stripes on the jersey. The away jerseys are then all dark blue. Since then it has changed its name many times, first in 1948 to BSG Pneumatik Aue and during the GDR era it was also called SC Wismut Karl-Marx-Stadt. It has been under its current name since 1993.
