Spanish national football team is one of the best national teams in history. They became World Champions in 2010 in South Africa, and have won the European Championship three times so far in 1964, 2008 and 2012, in addition to being runners-up in 1984. They won Olympic gold in 1992 and have silverware from 1920 and 2000.

Morocco's national team represents the country in international football events, which include the World Cup and also the African Cup of Nations. It is at the African Cup of Nations that they have some of the achievements that we can mention here, namely the first place in 1976, the second place in 2004 and finally the bronze in 1980. The first time the national team of Morocco appeared in this tournament was in 1972.
