FC Südtirol, also known as Südtirol-Alto Adige or simply Südtirol, is a professional football team based in Bolzano, which is the capital city of the South Tyrol province in northern Italy. The club was founded in 1974 and has since become a symbol of the unique cultural and linguistic identity of the region, where German and Italian influence coexist.
More about FC SüdtirolItalian football club AC Cesena was founded in 1940 and has spent most of its existence in the first or second football league. However, in 2018 the team ran into significant financial trouble and went bankrupt. Cesena FC is thus considered to be its successor.
