Parma football team is one of the Italian clubs with a long history. During its existence, the team enjoyed one Serie A runner-up finish in the 1996/1997 season. Alongside this, it has also won several successes on the cup stage. Parma also achieved success in Europe, winning the UEFA Cup and the European Super Cup. The team is currently in the lower competitions, but still has a strong fan base and, above all, the belief that a return to the elite of the premier league is only a matter of time.
More about ParmaThis club is nicknamed I Bianconeri (the white and black), I Friulani (after the Italian region where they operate) and Le Zebrette (the little zebras). It is easy to guess that their club colours are white and black, and the reference to zebras can then be linked to the vertical stripes on the club jerseys. They play their home games at the Stadio Friuli, which is however currently called the Dacia Arena for sponsorship reasons. Its capacity is 25 144 seats.
