Soccer team APOEL FC from Cyprus was founded in 1926. And over time they have established themselves as the most successful team in the Cypriot league having already won 28 titles. In addition to that they have dominated the Cyprus Cup 21 times and the Cyprus Super Cup 14 times so far. They also have a fair amount of experience on the international stage with APOEL having participated in the Cup Winners Cup in the past and more recently Europa League and even Champions League.
