The foundations of Birmingham City Football Club were laid back in 1875 when the team was still named as Small Heath Alliance, having played under its current name since 1943. It plays its home games at St Andrew's Stadium, which can hold around 30,000 fans. Perhaps unsurprisingly, their biggest rival is the more famous Aston Villa, who are based in the same city.

This English club is nicknamed The Stags or Yellows. The former is nicknamed after the stag's head, which is found in the club's crest. The crest also contains the club colours, which are dark yellow and blue. These club colours are also found on the home jersey. Outdoors, they play in black or blue. Home games are played at the Field Mill Stadium, which offers a capacity of 9,186 spectators. The home of the team is the English town of Mansfield in the metropolitan county of Nottinghamshire. Here the club was founded in 1897 under the former name of Mansfield Wesleyans FC.
