Interestingly, their most successful season was their very first in Major League Soccer, when they won the MLS Cup and also managed to win the U.S. Open Cup, which they won in 2000, 2003 and 2006 in addition to 1998. They won the regular season and the Supporters' Shield once in 2003.

Minnesota United

Minnesota United soccer club from the Minnesota capital Saint Paul was founded in 2015. It joined Major League Soccer as the 22nd team in the standings. They play their matches at the modern stadium Allianz Field, which has a capacity of just over 19 thousand spectators. Given the short history of the club, it is probably not surprising that they have not reached any valuable trophy so far.
