The soccer club from the American capital DC United has been in existence since 1996 and is one of the founding members of Major League Soccer. Their modern stadium Audi Field has a capacity of about 20 thousand fans. The home matches are played in all black, while the away jerseys are all white.

The American team Chicago Fire was founded in 1997. For home games they use Soldier Field, which has a capacity of over 61,000. The home jerseys are blue, while the away games are pure white. Interestingly, their most successful season was their very first in Major League Soccer, when they won the MLS Cup and also managed to win the U.S. Open Cup, which they won in 2000, 2003 and 2006 in addition to 1998. They won the regular season and the Supporters' Shield once in 2003.
