The American soccer team New York Red Bulls has been in existence since 1994, but at that time it was still called the New York/New Jersey MetroStars. In 2006, it was sold to a famous energy drink manufacturer, which also meant a name change.
More about New York Red BullsThe American team Chicago Fire was founded in 1997. For home games they use Soldier Field, which has a capacity of over 61,000. The home jerseys are blue, while the away games are pure white. Interestingly, their most successful season was their very first in Major League Soccer, when they won the MLS Cup and also managed to win the U.S. Open Cup, which they won in 2000, 2003 and 2006 in addition to 1998. They won the regular season and the Supporters' Shield once in 2003.
