Angers SCO is a soccer team from the French department of Maine-et-Loire, which is as old as the French Football Federation, as both were founded in 1919. It is a team that has rotated the leagues it has played in several times. The last time they were promoted to Ligue 1 was in 2015, and that was after a rather long hiatus, having not played the top competition for 21 years.
More about Angers SCOThey are nicknamed Les Rouges et Noirs (the red and black ones). Red and black are also their typical club colours. At home they play at Roazhon Park stadium, which has a seating capacity of 29,778 after a 2004 renovation and expansion. When Rennes played Arsenal in the Europa League semi-final on 7 March, a record attendance of 30,519 people was set.
