Angers SCO

Angers SCO is a soccer team from the French department of Maine-et-Loire, which is as old as the French Football Federation, as both were founded in 1919. It is a team that has rotated the leagues it has played in several times. The last time they were promoted to Ligue 1 was in 2015, and that was after a rather long hiatus, having not played the top competition for 21 years.

At home they play at Roazhon Park stadium, which has a seating capacity of 29,778 after a 2004 renovation and expansion.
