Empoli FC
The Tuscany club has a tradition dating back to 1920 and has changed its name several times throughout its history. From the original Empoli FBC it gradually became ASF Empoli, Dopolavoro Empolese to today's Empoli FC. The Azzurri, as the team playing its home games at Stadio Carlo Castellani (capacity of more than 16,000 spectators) is also nicknamed, even played in the UEFA Cup in 2007. However, the vast majority of their time was spent in Italy's third highest competition. They have been more successful in recent seasons, but they are still more of a provincial club in the Italian scale, on the border between Serie A and Serie B.

The team was founded in 1912 and has a storied history, although it has spent most of its existence in the lower divisions of Italian football. Monza plays its home games at the Stadio Brianteo, which has a capacity to seat fans who come to support the team in their distinctive red and white colors.
