The nicknames of this Turkish club are Sarı Kanaryalar, Sarı Lacivertliler or Fener. Their shrine is known as the Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium, which holds an impressive 50,509 spectators. The club was founded back in 1907 in Istanbul by former football enthusiasts.
