The club's name in Italian is Torino FC and its nicknames are Il Toro (the bull) or I Granata (the grenade). The club colours are red and white. During their history, they have participated in lower Italian competitions, having only secured promotion to the elite Serie A for the 2016/2017 season. They stayed in the league for the following year, but then followed their relegation to the second-tier Serie B.
