Ferencvárosi Torna Club, commonly known as Ferencváros or FTC, is a prestigious Hungarian football team based in the capital city of Budapest. Founded on May 3, 1899, by Ferenc Springer and a group of local residents of Budapest's Ferencváros district, the club has grown to be one of Hungary's most successful and popular football teams.
More about Ferencvárosi TCThe club's nickname is Cheeseheads, and the club colours are red and white. These colours are represented both in the club crest and on the home jerseys, with the jersey itself being red and the shorts being white. The club is at home at the AFAS Stadium, which will offer a capacity for 17,023 spectators. The Dutch club was founded in 1967 after the merger of two clubs in the city of Alkmaar.
