The full name of this club, Reial Club Deportiu Espanyol de Barcelona, translates to Royal Spanish Sports Club Barcelona. The nicknames are Periquitos, Blanquiazules (white and blue) and Mágico (magical). On the home jerseys, we thus naturally find the white and blue colours, which are projected in wide vertical stripes. Málaga CF plays its home games at La Rosaleda Stadium, which has a capacity of 30,044 fans and is currently owned by Sheikh Abdullah Al Thani. The club first appeared on the football map in 1904, and fans will know it as Los Malaguistas or Los Blanquiazules, a reference to the club's colours of white and blue.
