Juventus FC

The most famous nickname of Italy's most successful big club is La vecchia Signora (The Old Lady), but they are also simply called Juve for short. Their club colours are white and black, which is also related to their other well-known nickname bianconeri (white and black). Their home is Juventus Stadium, which is currently called Allianz Stadium for sponsorship reasons. It is a modern stadium that was built in 2011 and has a capacity of 41,507 seats. Until then, the club played at the former Stadio delle Alpi.

Given its position in the league, Juventus naturally also plays a number of derbies with its old rivals. The most famous of these is the rivalry with another Turin club, Torino. This derby is called the Derby della Mole (Turin derby). The other major derby is then the Derby d'Italia, which is played with Inter Milan.

Milestones and club achievements

The club was founded in 1897 in Turin and is one of the most traditional and oldest clubs in Italy ever. It has participated in the highest domestic competitions since 1900, and has only been relegated from Serie A on one occasion. So, like some other teams, it was actually forcibly relegated to Serie B after a well-known corruption scandal in Italian football in 2006. The relegation came as a result of points being taken away, losing the championship title in the 2005/06 season. In addition, he was also stripped of the championship title retroactively from the 2004/05 season. They lost a total of two titles. Despite this, by 2019 they had won a total of 35 titles during their time in the league, by far the most of any club in the league. Juventus has completely dominated the league, even in recent years.

In the league cups, it has won the Italian Cup a total of 13 times, most recently in 2018. It has won the Italian Super Cup 8 times, most recently in the same year.
